Peter and Brett's Excellent Adventure a.k.a. Pete and Brett's California Dreamin a.k.a. We Graduated and Have No Idea What To Do With Our Lives is off to a great start, and almost a month into the trip we find ourselves in Reno, NV.  Kristen Glaze offered to take us in for a couple days, and her roomates didn't mind.  We finished off the absinth with her neighbors and tried to teach them CounterClockwise, and lost several games of beer pong.  Kristen showed us through some casinos downtown where Pete and I found another game of Rapid Roullette, a setup we haven't seen since Harrahs in Vegas.  Pete and I were both down about $20, so Pete took out some more money to make it back...famous last words, I know.  He loaned me 20, which I stuck on red and doubled, giving him the original 20 back.  Pete was up to 70 and, after seeing my win on red, he put all 70 down on red.  That was over in a hurry, but we weren't done yet.  After a short trip to the ATM Pete had 100 more dollars down on red, and after a few more seconds that was gone too.  The next day was a bit better, he won $50 on a Wheel of Fortune slot machine then $18 playing poker.  We each bought in to Texas Hold 'em for $30, ten shit hands later I was out...I really need to learn how to bluff.

Before we left Reno Kristen and her roomates took us to the Chocolate Bar, one of the most fantastical places I've ever seen.  Kristen had mentioned it a few times, and after my imagination ran wild with molten chocolate waterfalls and delicious edible waitresses I finally convinced everyone we needed to go.  We shared a chocolate fondue, consisting of a melted pot of chocolate and pound cake, strawberrys, and bananas to dip in it.  If you know anything about my undying love for chocolate you can understand how happy I was at the Chocolate Bar.
