Today we all woke up pretty early Tokyo time around 630am. It was freezing in our room! The heater was not working, and I realized that the window was open right next to my bed. We went to the market to get breakfast and coffee! After we all got ready, we started to head out for the city. We walked to the Asakusa marketplace and saw a few temples. At the temples, there were smoke pits where you would loft the smoke into your face. Supposedly it is supposed to give you long life. The market was filled with lots of locals selling food, clothes, and other cultural stuff. I knew there would be a long day of walking, and catching trains to get around the city. Thank god we had our Japanese local with us to navigate us around the town and helping with the language barrier. In all, Tokyo is pretty amazing. The weather hasn't been cooperating with us but that’s ok because were all enjoying every minute of this experience. The city is beautiful, all the buildings with colorful advertisements hanging from them sets it apart. By the end of the day we went and got our tickets for the amusement park that we are going to travel to tomorrow. The weather is supposed to be a lot clearer and warmer….we hope! Crossing our fingers.

Oh we got the heater working! That means ill finally be able to get a few extra hours of sleep today!
