When you're lying on an air mattress in your empty apartment with questions bouncing off all corners of your mind, you slowly start to realize, "This. Is. Happening."
And now, we’re officially homeless. The movers have come and gone and we’ve handed over our apartment keys. Now we each only have one key on our keychain – the key to our little car
which we hope and pray will take us across the country as planned.
We’re staying the night with our good friends Tom and Allyson (they’re the couple who met up with us for a week in Italy this past September during our honeymoon). There, we’ll enjoy a hot
shower and get to sleep on an actual bed.
We usually have way too much fun when we hang out with them, but tonight we’re taking it easy because the road trip begins tomorrow!
