That evening we headed of to the Calgary stampede, we were fortunate to have amazing seats in the infield, with all the action only feet away. the weather however was very cold, which is a little surprising for the middle of July.
We arrived in Calgary on Sunday, staying at a ranch just outside of Cochrane. We are here to introduce Caylie to another of Jo's cousins, and extended family. A few days back we were in Great Falls Montana, and while visiting a sports store, Caylie picked up a rifle ( an electron9c one) and deposited 50 cents into the slot, and proceeded to shot every target that appeared.with the highest score of the day we all thought it was beginners luck.So turn the clock forward a few days and she finds herself on a ranch with real guns. so late one morning, we headed out on a "hunt". So enough we came upon a goffer which was digging holes in the horses training area. these holes can be very dangerous for the horses, and Reg was keen for Caylie to take a shot. you can imagine she was done on one knee, took aim and hit it perfectly. ( I have a photo, and will publish it latter).
