We awoke early freezing cold again! We got up early and headed for Yellowstone, the campsites are allocated the same as Glacier National Park, on a first come first served basis. They also don't have hook ups, hence the generator.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yellowstone

We arrived about midday and after some messing about over our length being to big because they wanted to include the length of the Beast as part of the site size requirement and therefore did not have a space big enough, we were eventually given a space at Bridge Bay Campground.

That afternoon we headed over to Old Faithful Geyser which erupted promptly as expected! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_Faithful_Geyser

We planned to spend 2 days doing "The Grand Loop" road thru Yellowstone, but on the first day we were very lucky and managed to do the whole loop plus see both bear (no photos) and moose as well as taking several walks thru the geysers, hot springs and mud pots. It is an amazing place and you are constantly reminded that you are walking and riving around inside an active volcano.

The Eagle battery refused to hold its charge for more than a few hours and this needs to be fixed if we want to dry camp anymore, so as we had seen all we wanted in Yellowstone we left a day early and headed for Salt Lake City.
