Well this was now my third trip back to Buenos Aires but since I do love this city I couldnīt wait plus the fact that I had mum with me who I knew would love the shopping and we were also catching up with Sam my wayward cousin who has been traveling through out South America for the past 10 months or so and we canīt wait to hear all the storied!

We landed in Buenos Aires on Saturday via Ushuia from El Calafate we literally we SOUTH SOUTH but didnīt actually get off the plane but still we have been there ;-)

It was HOT HOT HOT I knew we would get a shock especially after Patagonia but not this hot, so as soon as we finally got to the hostel cold showers then Maccaīs for dinner (naughty I know but it was close and easy) then bed, so yay party animals we are bed early on our first Saturday night in the city well known for its night life!

The next day we met Sambo and spent the day exploring San Telmo markets and reminiscing over Sam journeys and what has been happening with everyone over cold Quilmes (local beer) and Choripan yummmmmy!

We had a great day, long day in the markets and so much to look at but the markets in San Telmo are a MUST when in this city! Mum shopped up a storm yet again and I got a local gypsie to make some shoes to fit my huge feet, funky gypsie that no one else will like but I love!!!

That night we cooked, well mum did if I recall correctly... drank muchos argentinian vino and taught Sambo how to play Carioca, mum donīt worry you will win one day! Sadly sam was a natural at the game and I didnīt dominate as planned!

The next few days we just spent hanging around the city mainly, did some site seeing but saved most of that for the turistica bus since we knew that would be way easier and that we would see way more in a much easier fashion then walking around the hot city for hours, we basically just cruised which is what us kiwiīs do best really!

The Buenos Aires turistica bus is the best way to see this city for sure, it isnīt too pricey and you get plenty of time at each spot. La Boca was where we spent most of the time again, it is such a colourful and lively place! We met famous legendary Argentinian soccer players jaja drank many cold beers since it was so bloody hot, shopped! We also missed the next bus so decided tiem for more cervesa until the next one arrives!

It was time to take the old lady to try the best steak in Buenos Aires, it was nearly Sams last night as well so he wanted to get amongst La Cabreras steak too before he left.... It was magnifica yet again but the service I must admit was not as good... still its all about the steak and vino tinto really!

Buenos Aires impressed yet again even in the mad heat!!! I am sure ill visit this city again..... There is always something new to see or do! LOVE LOVE LOVE it
