I have reached the point that every traveller reaches at some point in their travels... I don't know where to go next and how to fill the final 3 weeks in the MOST amazing way! And then there is work... they haven't contacted me about my project and I am a bit lost with it. I have masses of info, their vague original project question, but their direction, so I make the best of what I have for them? Non-existent. Very stressfull and it's leaving me unsure about my final 3 weeks. I want to see the Iguacu Falls, I definitely want to get back to the coast and see some sunshine and beauty before I get back to grotty England, do I sacrifice these to follow up the leads on more work stuff? I am also stuck out way from anywhere in the Pantanal and unless I take a plane (which I can't afford) it is going to take me over a day on a bus to get anywhere! At least two things are certain. I have to meet Lara on the 10th in Sao Paulo and Craig on the 16th in Rio and those are definites!
I am a bus PRO now, or at least I will be by Sunday! I have just hesitatingly bought a ticket to Curitiba - the Eco Hub of Brazil - to follow up the work lead, that probably rules ot the Iguacu Falls, then I think I will head straight back out once I'm done there to catch a train to Ihla Do Mel, if I can get there on time to catch it and if not, I will catch yet another bus. Maybe then I should just sod it and do nothing but lie on my back enjoying the sunshine for 2 days before heading on to see Lara in Sao Paulo... There we go, a plan!
This bus is going to kill me... I just waited an hour for a bus on the wrong platform because they gave me the wrong platform on the ticket to wait on! I now have to wait for another bus, but they don't know when it will arrive because it's "in transit" and they don't know which platform it will arrive to! I love Brazilian administration... the hint of one hymn though and I will explode!!!!
