Up Tang Kuan Hill ...and more funny monkeys...

First an update on my toe...it's doing just fine.  Charmaine wanted to take me to the Dr.,but I convinced her it was ok...but since she is now so worried I will 'hurt' myself again, I'm no longer to do the dishes. (Brilliant!!!...of course I tease!)

When Charmaine arrived home and after assurring her that I was ok...(and 'nurse' Charmaine cleaned and dressed my toe wound) we were off to Tang Kuan Hill. This is where the monkeys are...but this time we made it in time to do the lift to the top. The 170km lift takes aproix. 3 minutes to get to the top. There is a 'Temple" of sort at the top and the most amazing views of Songkhla you will  find. There are many 'whorship' ritual and shrines. You walk around and ring the many bells for good fortune. There are 'wish sticks' which tell your fortune (if you are into that kind of thing...I'm not...) but you'll see a pic of two young ladies shaking the holder....the stick which pops out first is your lucky number and then they have a chart to tell you your future.....all in all...very beatutiful up here!

upon retuning to the bottom of the hill, of course I had  to take more pics of the monkeys! I don't care what anyone else says....monkeys are funny!  

 
A peaceful dinner and I read the English version of the Bangkok Post....same problems over here as over there...economy....sex scandels and drug bust...political scandels...same ol' same ol'....
