This was an unexpected highlight brought to me by Tamami, who found it on the web. An entire hotel and resort entirely in the trees. Well, sort of. Most of the rooms are up in the trees, some as much as 40 feet, and some even have water and bathroom facilities. The whole place has been around for over 20 years and they have been adding on rooms and things to do ever since. Horse rides through the country side, a huge zip line coarse, or a natural river fed pool, they had it made. And, they were super nice and let me check out the rooms, use their wifi, and thankfully, play their piano. It's a bit pricey, but how often do you get to wake up in the tree tops! After a few hours I "B" lined it back to the coast. Next stop, San Fransisco.
