One of my original goals for this adventure was to travel the pacific coast highway (hwy 101) from Olympic NP down to Baja California. Since I'm writing this entry in retrospect, I'm even happier that I was actually able to leave from Victoria, BC and truley make it an epic journey. The PCH hugs the coast, for the most part, from top to bottom; and ever since I hit the pacific ocean, I've wanted nothing but to stay on the beach. I started with a good two days down to seaside, Oregon. Hitting beaches that looked fun and kite worthy. I passed through dozens of sleepy and beautiful beach towns. I even stumbled upon the Washington international kite festival. It's like they knew I was coming! A bowl of cowder here and there, I slowley made my way down the coast till I hit seaside where I headed east, back inland, to Portland.
