Talk about close encounters of the big and bully kind. The Park is just gorgeous and is easy to get around. Not only did I have more buffalo time but got to go on a horse ride through the park as well. There are also prairie dog towns all over the area and make for some really funny site seeing. The morning I left, I awoke to a whole bunch of bison just outside my tent door. Seriously. They can be dangerous and everyone in camp had to really watch out for them as we sent about our morning stuff. I also really loved driving through this area of the country. The landscape is simple, and beautiful, and it's so easy to get a sense of what it was like for a cowboy to live out on the planes of the Dakotas. Quiet and serene. My heart breaths.
