We woke up to a cloudy and rainy day. We had a great breakfast (fresh pastries, orange juice and cappuchino) at the hotel which was included in the cost of the room, which by the way was 60€ per night. This is a good rate for the Amalfi Coast and the distance didn't matter because there were buses and a shuttle. We decided to spend the day in Amalfi to wander and check out places that would be good for wedding photos. There were tons of shops with lemoncello, coral and turquoise jewelery and of course, gelato. There were also a lot of american tourists from a cruise ship. Some of them were bitching about the weather and all I could think is, you’re on the Amalfi Coast who cares what the weather is like, it’s still amazing. Wanks! Anyways, the rain got so bad at times that we had to stand in covered pathways to stay dry. But it was still a good day. We had pizza for lunch at a place that’s awning said we serve "wine, bar, pizza, pasta typical local food" which translates into, “we are gonna rip you off with food that you think is authentic” - 18 Euro for two slices of pizza and two lemon sodas.

After the rain, we bussed to Ravello and wandered around there for a while. We did not really know what to do there as we did not check our travel guide before going and we always heard just seeing the views was worth the trip. They were, we could see Amalfi and took a few pictures. There was a theatre or something that I guess we missed out on but we were happy with what we saw.

That night we had dinner with a couple from Quebec, Justine and David. We ate and talked with them until about 1:30am. It was nice to visit with people of similar interest. There was a bit of a language barrier but nothing compared to some of our other experiences. Plus it was nice to visit with people that could understand the differences between Canada and Europe.
