Everyone has seen the monuments, architecture, and artifacts, but have you ever seen the tunnels under D.C.? Although I don't know if we were permitted to be there, we were! My sister asked a security guard where the Music Theater Exhibit was and he told her it was in 'The Garfield Building'. He then proceed giver her directions. So she takes us down this tunnel, and we are obviously not supposed to be there. While walking, I overheard a man in a suit say, "I didn't think they let tourists in the tunnels." Moral of the Story: don't look like a tourist. Luckily there weren't any security checkpoints, so it all ended fine. The rest of D.C. was amazing!
