Hello friends...I love my life. It basically dominates at the moment. Today, I sprung out of my cozy little bed around 9:00, ready to take on Round 2 at Kouzzina! Oh Cat Cora-you had me at artichoke spread on kalamata toast. As many of you know, I am a creature of habit, so I obviously ordered the same thing I devoured on my first trip to Kouzzina. My dear friend Laura ordered her enormous pancake again, so I admire her consistency, as well. Our reservation was for 10:50, and we laughed as we said the reservation was under "Master Bradley Rediger." One of the options for the title on your reservation is "master," with the others being things like Mr./Mrs./Dr./Miss, etc. Well, the seating hostess thought we said "mister," because she kept saying "Missssster" in an odd stage-voice...Megan, you know what voice I'm referring to.

Breakfast was simply spectacular, and it even inspired me to get a massive cupcake from the Boardwalk Bakery afterwards, so there you go. I've decided I need to stop consuming these massive creations which have probably reduced my lifespan by 5 years already. Then, we caught the magnificent (sarcasm) bus back to Chatham. I found out I will still get free housing at UNK next year, so guess where Brad will be living-on campus-all 4 years...weird, huh? I also believe I found a place to live for the summer, but I am not willing to divulge details at this time.

I went for an invigorating stroll around the area for about 45 minutes, and then got ready for work. The lovely 75 degree day was almost too inviting to warrant going to work, but I decided I like this College Program thing too much to slack off. So, I headed to work my 6 hour "Friday" shift. I have the next two days off work, so I'll admit even I am excited for two days of theme park fun! Today, I worked turnstiles a lot, launch bay, coaster console, and that might be it. I definitely snap into magical Disney mode when I walk onstage-I love it! If you have ever seen me when I am really cheerful and friendly, I wish you could see me interacting with guests. I am more pleasant than Maria von Trapp when I am wearing my cast member name tag, and I won't let any Debbie Downers ruin the fun for me!

After work, me and some co-workers hit up "half-priced apps" at Uno's, as Kristen refers to it. She is from New York, and pronounces most of her words in a very bizarre manner. However, she is always quick to point out how I apparently say "Nebraska" in a weird way. I think she is crazy. We are going to Animal Kingdom, and possibly Magic Kingdom tomorrow, so I am pumped! I am excited to see what spending an entire day with her is like, as I seriously cry after every sentence she says. My favorite today was when she was describing what she would do to eat a turkey leg..."I would capture and butcher a turkey in cold blood in order to acquire a turkey leg." Every word she says drips with comedic gold!

At Uno's, I had some Muchos Nachos and a mini pizza, for only like 6 bucks total! Insane in the membrane! Now, I need to go to bed, because it is 1:20 am, and Brad is waking up at 9 to head to the kingdom of the animals. However, I have a good story to tell you first. When the current VP of the Magic Kingdom was training to work as an attractions cast member (my job) at the Haunted Mansion in 1971, he absolutely loved his trainer. So, fast forward 40 years and this man is the head of the Magic Kingdom-no big deal, right? Anyways, his trainer is like 118 now...maybe 75, but who's counting...and she still works at Fantasyland as a normal attractions worker. Anyway, on her schedule one day, it said she was supposed to work the parade. This lady doesn't like working the parade for some reason, and really didn't want to on this particular day. Her coordinator told her "You have to work the parade," and she said "I don't work parades." Well, her coordinator was not too happy, so the lady called up the VP of the Magic Kingdom and told him her predicament. Needless to say, the coordinator soon received a message from way up top that read loud and clear: "She doesn't do parades." I love it! It just goes to show that you should be nice to everyone today, because who knows when you will need them in 40 years! I need to go to bed. It is now 1:27 am...Have a magical day!
