Hello all! Today was not too exciting, although I did complete my training! Hooray! This means I have successfully "earned my ears," so watch out world...Brad Rediger has arrived. Not really, but I am glad I am done with training. Today was greeter training day, so I learned how to operate the turnstiles and be an outdoor greeter. The latter of which is nearly as difficult as it sounds-not difficult at all. The turnstiles are somewhat tricky as people do not understand how to place their finger on the scanner aka Biometrics reader. Also, there are apparently 97 different kinds of tickets people can have (Seasonal passes, UK 14 day extreme pass things, unused Park Hopper passes with different options issued in 2002). So, only about 50% of guests successfully enter the turnstiles on their first try. Lord help me.

Today I was told another hilarious story about what happens if you "forget" your pin at home. These pins say your first name, and where you are from for normal cast members, or the school you are representing for College Program participants. So my trainer used to work at the Liberty Inn at Epcot. Well, one day her co-worker Marshall left his pin at home, so he went to Epcot Cast Services and explained his situation. This obviously happens on a daily basis, so they have a basket full of old pins cast members can borrow for the day. Surprisingly, those with a lost pin can choose whatever pin they please. One day Sara went to work to discover that Marshall was wearing a pin with "Shanequa" on it. I have now decided I am going to "forget" my pin one day so I can be Javier, Muhammad, or Lafawnduh(yes, I know that is not how it should be spelled).

After work I decided to get a chocolate-peanut butter cupcake from Disney Quest for dinner, because I am just that healthy. Did I tell yall that I had a red velvet cheesecake cupcake yesterday for dinner? It wasn't as amazing as I had hoped, as my red velvet cheesecake is far superior to Disney's. Tomorrow I work from 2-10:30, as I will be closing from here on out I presume. This is a good thing, as I will have time to hit the parks in the morning or work on my UNK stuff. Next week I have one long day at work, one normal day (8 hours) and three 6 hour days, so it will be nice to not have every day of the week completely absorbed by work, although I do love my job! I need to go read some Power Points for my Human Sexuality class, so I better go. The class is as disturbing as it sounds. I am going to wake up early tomorrow and head to 8 o'clock mass, since I couldn't make it today. I doubt the weekday masses are as amazing as their Sunday ones, but mass isn't about the glitz and glamor of show business, I suppose. Have a magical day!
