Our first day in Bar Harbor,Maine. We stop at Acadia National Parks visitors center. We watch the film about Acadia, and learn more than from books and web sites. We take the Park Loop Road and stop at, Sand Beach, Thunder Hole,Wildwood Stables,where we find out that carriage ride have stopped for the season. We stop on the way home at Bar Harbor and have a bowl of clam chowder for a snack before a early dinner. We try a Woopie Pie...WOW! A great Maine treat! A Woopie Pie is kind of like two pieces of cake(chocolate)with a yummy cream filling(like icing).MMMMMM! We walk around the town of Bar Harbor and love it. The early bird specials start at 4:30pm, we are looking for a lobster dinner which includes lobster, clam chowder, fries and blueberry pie. We fine such a deal and after playing football in the park for a bit, we head to dinner. It was a perfect dinner.
