We made it into Sioux Falls at a reasonable time of around 6:30. They actually have a light show for the falls, but we decided since it was hot and we wanted to have a nice dinner to pass on the show. Instead we are going to take a look first thing tomorrow. I will add pictures tomorrow night to give you a view of the falls.

In the meantime, one of the things I noticed was the number of wind turbine farms. You may know they have some that you can see off of the turnpike going to Pittsburgh. Well that is nothing to out here. I roughly counted one farm had over 100 wind turbines and they came really close to the highway. I have put one picture up, but it does not do it justice as to the size. While driving into Sioux falls we saw turbine blades loaded onto tractor trailers. One blade to a truck and they are huge!

We had a nice dinner at the Granite City Brewery. They are a chain in the mid-west that reminds you of Brewer's Alley. Food was very good and reasonable.

Alison tried to talk me into taking her to a movie. Not enough time and everyone is tired. Out of interest I checked and the Adult fee is only $6.50 versus $11.00 in Frederick.

On the other hand gas is more here. Have not seen it any cheaper than $3.59 and as much as $3.99.

More to follow after tomorrow.
