An exotic land of creative people... Seriously the Thais' are such creative individuals. Art, craft, dance, theater.. amazing. These people re-use rubbish, scraps of paper, old tin cans and turn them into an art-gallery-piece! (pic above is of a public toilet, an elephant made of Pepsi cans, soap carved into a flower!)

11:00pm-head back to hotel... yawn zZ (*note we still had on our bikinis from diving so u can imagine how tired and how much we wanted a shower!!!)
8th October
7:00am- woke up to have a dip in the resorts pool .. cool concept the pool goes all around the resort so ..yes we woke up to swim and YES we forgot to eat again!8:00am-Tried the resorts' spa, I had a great massage a combination of Thai and Swedish methods ..aaahhh
11:00am-checked out of Arahmas Resort and head to Phuket town, we chose an ok hotel which cost us a mere 800 Baht.
11:45am-checked into new hotel and headed to Wah Chalong Temple (we were intrigued by the fortune telling sessions-but no one spoke English!) Temple was quite a sight though.
2::00pm- we went elephant trekking: includes, water fall, jungle trekking, gibbon project, buffalo cart, canoeing, dinner. Some pics from our little adventure:
(me trying to steer the elephant, May Leng at the back seat, buffalo carting; waterfall & hunchback of notre dame aka me with a backpack )

7:00pm- we ended our adventure and went back to Patong beach, our attempt to club turned into pubbing (we had on our heavy ruck sacks and our shopping so we thought -we were best finding a pub to chill at!)

11:00pm-off to bed..
9th October
8:00am woke up to the sounds of firecrackers and the noise outside our hotel window on the streets... it was the Thai Vegetarian festival (aka poking of swords, knives and poles through their mouths and other body parts!) Slight panic as we needed to be at the airport by 11am and by 10am we still couldnt get hold of transport all the streets in town were blocked for the parade... we finally made it to the airport by 1130 only to realise our flight wasnt till 1:30pm!

Great trip can't wait for the next one..
