Yangshuo... was my first stop- Had a one hour full body massage for 35 Yuan (USD4.4).. *SIGH* ..... Brief description of CHINA 1) The scenery is amazing-beyond words. 2) There have weird customs - I finally found a place where I would not like to greet people! They greet and show affection by touching your EARS! 3) I got married one night was involved in some traditional wedding Ceremony... I had no idea what was going on at that point! 4) Theres a place called West Street, alot of foreigners, bars, night markets (selling lotsa knick knacks for dirt cheap). Its a place to chill with friends though NOT when you're part of a tour group. No one speaks English not even my tour guide I have to depend on my cantonese skills (which surprisingly helped!) In Mandarin the only things i need to say are:
1) Chee so (toilet)
2) Ho kui (Sooo expensive)
3) Pu Yao (dont want)
4) Wo Pu Ming Pai (I dont understand)
5) Lei Sik Kong Kong Tung Wah (in cantonese which basically means "Do you speak cantonese?"
