ThIs morning we checked out early, loaded the luggage van and headed off. We headed to the JV boys game, for day 1 of the tournament....we arrived to South Point High School, an amazing multi million dollar facility, with a stadium to boot...to find out the game had been postponed to later in the day so we headed off to the Varsity games at another local school about 10 mins away. We arrived to see the girls win with a result of 69-22.
The Varsity boys were up next, round 1 of the tournament, and had led all the way. It came down to the last minutes and in the end the boys lost by 2 points! A great game, but disappointing. We are now off to the JV boys game and then the JV girls tonight at another school with a 7:30 pm game.
Here some comments from the Varsity girls:
It has been a great tour so far and am getting closer with the people around me. We are working really well as a team right in time to win the tournament (hopefully- fingers crossed!). Having a blast!! Just need to find a pair of nice basketball shoes in my size :) haha - Em McCann
Having such a fantastic time with these great team mates off and on the court. Food has been great and very cheap for such large meals, just as well we're making up for it on the court. The weather has been the only thing miserable so far for me! Raining >:( - Kayla Young

This has been such an amazing tour, just loving america so much- FREE REFILLS!!! everyone is also so friendly which was surprising. but for basketball, the rules are so different and confusing
its taken us awhile to adjust but we are getting there! The food is crazy, so much of it for so little, and everyone has become addicted to REESES (amazing) and the friendships are amazing :)) we all have become so close its wonderful! Ainsley & Kaitlin

Paris and Vandoria are the best ;) ... And CJ :/

Hooters women .... Love life - Luke

Hey - James Ringholt xo

Hi? - Seb (birthday boy) Windsor

JV boys won also, the game goal for goal.
The JV girls were on late and last, with all 3 of our teams watching, the girls brought it to within 5 points, but ended up going down with a loss.
Back to hotel, and a 2 minute walk to Hooters family restaurant for Seb's birthday dinner. Geat food, quick service, washing is on...omg....kids in rooms, us parents MAY get to bed before 1:30 am!
Goodnight.
