Out of the ten of us who didn't do the two day sailing, I was the only one who didn't do the one day sailing on the Camira. So, I had a free day today while the other nine people took a boat ride out to Whitehaven beach and whatever else. But it was actually nice to have a break from the go, go, go attitude of Contiki for a day. I did laundry, called home, took a nap, and spent some time on the internet. The breakfast at the resort is pretty good because they have pancake making machines where you push a button and pancakes come out. Mmm.

Once the Camira people got back, Katherine wanted us to hurry up and get downstairs for Bingo. Anthony and I had no idea what was even going on because they had us play some weird British way. It was fun, though, and Lee actually won the first round. He originally picked a sunset cruise, but then he realized that he'd be going on it alone, so he traded it in for a bottle of champagne instead. Then Anita won a round and ended up with Lee's rejected cruise ticket. It was surprisingly fun, considering it's usually an old person's kinda game.

After Bingo, Katherine, Jo, Lee, Anthony, and I went out and played mini golf on the other side of the island. On the way there, we found an awesome playground that made scary noises, and of course we had to play on it. Anthony and Lee wanted pictures of pretty much every hole in putt-putt, but we made them wait until the end. We only got through about half of the holes once it was time for dinner at the Fishbowl, so we took a dinner break and came back to it. I had a pretty good chicken burger at the restaurant. Jara sat with us while we ate, since she had already eaten dinner. Katherine was getting eaten up by bugs, so the dude from the restaurant gave her vinegar???? Then we went back to our game of golf, where Jo and I battled it out to see who was worse. I can't remember if we tied or if I lost. All I know is that we were terrible, which made it more fun.

On the way back, we caught one of the golf carts (aka "buggies") to save time. After a few more rounds of "knock and run" on Lee's door, we finally went to bed. Definitely one of the better nights of the trip.
