April 26, 2010  woke up at 0450 this am had a nice warm cup of coffee and got dressed to go to morning prayer and Mass then looked out the window and saw that it had snowed. My car was covered as were all the other cars in the parking lot. I walked over to the church for morning prayer and Mass and the church was locked up tight all the way around. Tried ever door believe me there were a lot of doors. Couldn't see a soul moving inside. Went back to the center where I was the one and only guest for the night and tried to connect to the Internet and was on for a short time and then nothing. Soooo I called Wyoming where I was scheduled to spend the night and the Sisters told me that it was a beautiful day there. I hated not to be able to say good bye to the good sisters but I wanted to go to McDonald's and try to get connected to the Internet to check weather. No luck there. Talked to some of the employees who assured me that this was just a few flurries and that they had not heard anything about bad weather conditions. Sooo I headed out thinking I can always turn around and go back if I don't get through. It was the right thing to do. If I had turned around without even trying I know I would have felt defeated. The sights along the way were again different. Mostly flat empty land with some cattle grazing along  the way until I hit Casper then the rolling hills began. Very beautiful. Still no houses or farms just rolling hills. Many shades of brown and green all natural earth tones gracing the highway. I was thinking it would be a great subject for an art student. You know how you have all those shades of color and you are supposed to blend them until you get the right combination. It really was an interesting site.  When the land was totally flat the sky was again a beautiful shade of blue so always something beautiful to look at. Well I finally made it to the monastery and all the Sisters are off in their rooms for quiet contemplation. I will see them in the morning and perhaps get some pictures. They were very welcoming and I very much feel at home and comfortable. I guess I will go to my room to read and contemplate.  I have posted a few pictures and will post more tomorrow. Good Night all
