Nelly was a stubbly fucker and he chaffed my legs when I sat on his head. He gave me a good ride in the jungle though and had a ginormous knob swingly gayly between his legs! His owner was a masochist kunt and felt the need to jab hooks into his feet to make him go faster, but good old Nelly plodded along fast enough for me! Bamboo rafting down a rapid river on my birthday was magic fun and I tried my darndest to tip the Yanks and the Krauts in the river but they actually turned out to be sound and we had a good pissup on the local moonshine in the Hill Tribe villages that night. The kindly Karen people found out about my big day and I loved my cake made of choccy biccys and sesame buns they gave me - yum!
So now I'm in Pai, this is the first place in Thailand I've really liked. Thailand is ramm jammed wi tourists, not my cup o Tea so far but I have only seen Bangkok, around Chang Mai and Pai (in the sky). The place has a good vibe and some quality nightlife. Live music every night and I've met some really nice folk here. I pay only 1 pound for my own wee flower shack near the river and a quarter of that for each delicious curry or barbee'd chicken I chow down on. THIS is cheap livin'.
For just over a pound a day I hired a moped to checkout big batcaves, hot springs that were good fir nowt much else than boiling an egg in, and waterfalls I could piss harder than. This is the dry season though, everything is brown and dead, the hills are literally burning. Can't see shit from the top of a mountain as there's so much smoke. The hill tribes are setting fire to all the forest for hunting and to keep the undergrowth down. It's fuckin the place up.
Can't wait to get to Laos. Visa is taking toooo long.
