October 20, 17:08 GMT +2

Here I am on the flight to Thailand. I have probably begun all of my reports with this, but I am so bored. Imagine this - 9 hours!

But the worst part isn’t the duration, or even the fact that we are seated in the very rear end of the plane, but the fact that we’re on a fully-booked Ukrainian flight. Which means people have brought food with them on the flight, things like boiled eggs and cold chicken wrapped in foil. They started with opening all of the duty-free alcohol they’d bought upon departure, and went through with it in the first ten minutes on the flight, which I find absolutely hilarious. And now they’re watching ‘Ice Age’ on the tiny TV screens in the coach or snoring away.

What drives me absolutely nuts is the simplicity of our people. I don’t mean to sound like a petty snob (okay, fine, maybe I do), but the way they act makes them seem like cattle, not... Humans.

The meal was... Bleh. I got six of my braces taken off yesterday, which exposed my teeth and now even a sip of lukewarm water seems like hell on Earth.
I honestly have no idea what time it is, probably around 9. Still October 20.
Still on the plane, have been up among the clouds for, let’s see, about seven hours. My throat is as dry as the Sahara, even though the stewards have been offering water and I feel that i probably wouldn’t be able to stand up even if I wanted to. I ended up watching ‘Ice Age’ with the rest of the plane... And then ‘Die Hard - 4’ and now we’re halfway through ‘Just my Luck’. I honestly tried sleeping, but it seems as though my body decided to rebel against me.

They’ve just announced they would feed us. Oh joy, more dried-out chicken and radioactive vegetables.

I probably should quit whining, but seems there’s nothing else to do for me, so here I am, pouring my little old heart to you.

We’re landing in two and a half hours. I think I nearly died of happiness writing this. I can only imagine how tedious the journey back will be.
