  You hear about it all the time, Corpus Christi, Texas. But for the life of me, I can't understand why. Unless you're the kind of person who thinks that having a Wall-Mart every half mile is your dream come true, there is not much else to like about it.
  It is built on a ridiculous mega-highway, polluted with ugly mega-stores and the dumbest on again, off again, access road, loopy system you ever saw. Step a block off and see ugly salt-box homes lining the streets.
  We couldn't find a downtown that might have redeemed it, if it exists at all.
  We did get over charged at a "Wings" sports bar while watching a Browns game, though. Fun in a funny way.
