Up to now, our holiday mode still seems to be on the setting mode, almost a week we are gone. We are starting to enjoy the gorgeous warm weather, unwinding slowly, fixing a couple of things to be fully operational. Ian had to go to a tire store to replace the spare tire that had a blister. I had to go to Body work to buy the foamy soap my sister and law and I liked (by the way Johanne, Body work is opening 15 000 outlets in Canada, we are done bringing it back from United States)   Ian had to go to have a screw installed for his glasses that kept loosing one lense. I had to buy a can opener at Walmart, because I didn't want to take the only one we had at home. Ian had to go to Costco to buy the dogs food they are used to having. I had to go to Starbucks to connect to Wi-fi to check if I have received any work... and the answer is Yes, I did. Bouhouhouh!

We found the cheapest campsite at my uncle and auntie's RV resort... $7 dollars a day! OK, without electricity, but we had our propane so we were able to do anything we needed.

Eugénie's aunt Nini had had some oral surgery so we didn't want to bother them when we arrived.  We set up camp and walked over to their place the following day.

The GPS has proven to be our best friend to find cafés, ATM's, and WIFI places . We found one nice place in St. Pete called The Kitchen, where they made great lavender cookies... Zut, je les ai déjà tous mangés!!!

Puis dernier petit déjeuner avec MT (matante) et MO (mononcle). Ils ont été adorables! Depuis on roule. J'écris de Lafayette en Louisiane. Les chiens en ont marre d'être dans la voiture et moi itou, surtout là que la route est mauvaise... ça donne mal au coeur!

We stayed 3 days and went to couple of places with uncle and auntie. In particular, we remember John's Pass, where we saw dolphins, pelicans, egrets, ibises. Then we went to Fort de Soto beach, where we were told we could find a dog beach. The dogs had a blast running and playing in the water!  Next day they both had loose bowels because they had drunk the salt water.  Another place not to miss is Mazarro in downtown St. Pete, where you could find great choice of specialty foods. Ian even found his precious Pillar Box Red. Hey Bill , isn't life great!
