2 razy w zyciu mialam zlamana reke, dlatego schrzaniam kazda pilke hehe. W pewnym momencie znudzilam sie monotonia mojej celnosci (a raczej jej braku) - i wyszlam na spacer. Byl upal i niewiele dookola - pare sklepow, sporo fast foodow , napisy w 2 jezykach - angielskim i hiszpanskim. Prawie jak w Stepney Green w Londynie, gdzie mieszkalam. Tylko, ze tam byl jezyk bengali. Tutaj zamiast ludzi z Bagladeszu, jest mnostwo meksykanow.
Po kreglach pojechalismy na lody. Byly przepyszne, a popoludnie fantastyczne.
Wieczorem mielismy ognisko posumowujace ten tydzien. Gralismy w pare harcerskich gier i dostalismy krawato-chusty harcerskie i koszulki campowe. Na koncu palilismy w ognisku galazki z zyczeniem na nadchodzacy turnus.
Tuz po ognisku czesc osob rozeszla sie, a ja, Ziggy i Buttercup rozmawialysmy jeszcze przez dluzsza chwile. Potem byly smichy i chichy z innymi dziewczynami w domku tuz przed snem. Dzien byl naprawde udany.
ENGLISH:
In the morning we had one of our trainings. Then we were cleaning up dormitories/bunks/tents for the Sunday campers arrival. After that it came time for lunch and then... we got into 3 cars with 20 people from camp. Our purpose was bowling. San Rafael is a town 20 miles away from our camp, so we didn`t make a too long journey. Nevermind, first time since I arrived here, I got out of camp, to, erm, civilization. The weather was beautiful, we could see American flags every a few metres and the palm trees meant, that we were being in a warm state - such as California:).
I was doing bowling for my first time and as any other ball - I wasn`t doing well. I`ve had my hand broken twice and this is why I keep messing up any ball hehe. In a certain moment I got bored of my play monotony so I went for a walk. It was hot and not too much around - a couple of shops, pretty a few fast foods, signs in 2 languages - English and Spanish. Almost like in Stepney Green in London, where i used to live. Though, there was Begali. Instead of Bangladeshi people, there`s a lot of Mexicans.
After the bowling, we drove to grab some ice cream. it was delicious, and the afternoon fabulous.
In the evening we had a bonfire about all what we had done that week. We did some skits and got girls scout ties and also camp T-shirts. We were burning wish-sticks (which is a stick with a wish on it) for the upcoming week.
straight after the fire some of the people spreaded out, and me, ziggy and Buttercup had a chat for a while. The I had some giggles with other girls in our cabin just before sleep. The day was truly awesome.
