Me and Mr Darek arrived to the railway station in Lodz just 10 mins after my train`s departure. It was 10:40 and the next train to Opole was leaving from Lodz at 4 a.m., which meant I had to wait for almost the whole night at the station, arrrgghh. I was so sleepy and so tired from journey that I just lied down on a bench and was half sleeping, half waiting for my train. It seemed to take forever!
At 3:40 I got up and went to the right platform becuase I was informed the train was standing up there already. In a few mins there joined me a lady and she started talking, talking talking. She was nice and friendly but I was far too tired. I think she got it and said she would let me sleep.
In Czestochowa I had to change, which meant I was going to carry my suitace up- and down- stairs, again.
I arrived to Opole around 9 a.m., took a cab home (strangely enough, I found some unexpected cash in my wallet in train from Czestochowa).
I was sleeping till 3 p.m. and didn`t care I missed my classes. When I woke up, my brother and mum were waiting for me with Birthday cake and nice presents. It was a really sweet surprise. I will never forget that weekend and my fabolous Birthday. Hanna became my carer again and I will never know how to pay her back. I hope to be her travel guide when she arrives to Poland in May. I can`t wait to see you again, babyczka!
