POLSKI:
Do Olimpii zabiera nas auto - budka kempingowa z Austriakami mieszkajacymi w Czechach w srodku. Starozytna Olimpia to miasto, w ktorym rozegraly sie pierwsze igrzyska olimpijskie. Mimo wykanczajacego upalu, bylam naprawde podekscytowana.
Z Olimpii, po lunchu, udalismy sie w strone Patry. Gdy kupowalam wode w supermarkecie, zagadala mnie babka i zaproponowala, ze moze nas podwiezc do Pyrgos. Zawiozla nas nawet 10km dalej! Byla przemila i bardzo rozmowna. Raczej nietypowa Greczynka.

ENGLISH:

To Olympia we were taken by a camp - trailer with Austians living in Czech Republic inside. Marcin was moaning that we arrived here "just for some ruins", but to me that was the point :). I wanted to touch the history on my own skin. The entrance to the ruins and to the museum for Euro26 owners is for free. The ancient Olympia is the town where the first Olympics had happened. Despite the exhausting heat, I was really excited.
From Olympia, after lunch, we headed towards Patra. While I was buying a water at a local supermarket, a certain woman started speaking to me and she offered us a ride to Pyrgos. She even took us 10km further! She was super nice and very talkative, which makes her rather untypical Greek woman.
