Last night we drove the highway on Grand Isle and took photos all along the way of the houses on stilts, marshes, waterways and clouds. We had lunch at Sara's Cafe, a home cooked hamburger for me and Jim had fried shrimp and oysters which the waitress said was fresh from the area...not so sure myself.

Jim was up early so we were on our way by at least 6:30. The temp in the Mothership at 2:00 AM was 94 with the fans on. It gets too cold with the AC on at night. It was the same temp this morning. I'm riding in the back again for awhile. Jim was writing and blogging last night, later than I could stay awake, so I'm trying to catch up. Not sure where we will stay tonight. I had a spot called Hallsville, Texas originally mapped out but we may go a different way. We decided to keep driving today and hit Dallas at rush hour traffic then found Ray Roberts Lake State Park in Northern Texas just North of Dallas, on a huge lake. Sadie loved it and kept wanting Jim to through the ball to her in the lake. It was like bathwater, I waded in the lake while Jim and Sadie swam.
