We had another good day of driving.  Jim tried out the Mothership while I drove. He liked sitting back there while he wrote down his thoughts.  We made it to Cheyenne and bought a car charger for the computer and also realized my phone charger worked on my wireless, so guess what, we are always connected now.  I do need to look up at times to see the beauty of this country. Today we found a little RV park in Chappell, NE - we saw the tent/camper sign on the highway and took a chance this would be a good place.  It is a beautiful green site just outside of the town.  We walked into town and had a dish of ice cream at the Red Rooster Cafe. We are close to the railroad tracks - three tracks, so I expect to hear them in the night, but it is the sound of rural America. Now to load pictures from the last two days.  Hope you enjoy them.

Love to all,

Karen

PS - I told you there was a poem coming

KAREN'S SHOES

Loading the Mothership,
exhausted, Karen's just about asleep
as I enter the bedroom
with one last question,

"What did you take for shoes?"
"Yes." "What?" "Lots."
I pick up a pair of sandals
and return to the ship

to put my pair away.
No room here, I say,
seeing Karen's shoes.
Impressive work.

Looks like you are right on time as well as enjoying every moment getting to your reunion. I got a lot of compliments yesterday on all the plants in the backyard. You may havea little trouble getting yours back from me :)

It's fun to read about your travels. Thanks for sharing... I would've taken several shoes too, Karen. I like the poem. Gotta be prepared, right? :) Wish you were coming near Charlotte. Blessings!
