It is September 23rd and it is the day we (that would be Felipe and I) embark on our journey to SE Asia! The alarm rings around 05.30 in the morning, getting up at that time is normally close to impossible but this time I wake up as excited as a child on Christmas morning.
We take a shower and check everything one last time, knowing myself I probably need to check everything 3 more times just in case but no time for that. We have to say our goodbyes to my dear family and knowing dad we have to leave at least 10 hours earlier for we might hit a traffic jam or some natural disaster and we could miss our flight because of that. My dad as the driver, our car will be the first of many different vehicles we will use to get to our destination. The first? Dusseldorf Airport!
