So after having such a delectable dinner last night, we finally get ready the next morning to leave British Colombia behind and head east towards our next destination, Alberta. The bus trip took longer as usual, but at least we went to some stops along the way such as Hope and eating Chinese food for lunch at Lotus Inn Restaurant (by the way, I was able to spot so many Tim Horton's along the way, especially one a few buildings away from where we ate lunch and got some timbits and iced coffee). We then stopped by at the Canadian Pacific Railroad, where the last spike took place around the 1800s. It was a big deal because that very spot connected the railroad from the west of Canada to the East of Canada, and these two railroads finally connected. It was an amazing sight to see.

Later. We went to a ginseng factory called Majestic and checked out how ginger was made, and why it was beneficial to our health. There was a chinese tour guide for those who can understand the chinese language, and there was an English tour guide for those who wanted the tour in English. After the presentation, we had free sample tastings of ginger and ginger tea. They both tasted refreshing, but I don't like ginger that much. It was quite difficult eating ginger if it's just by itself. I would rather have it diluted in tea instead to give off a better taste.

Anyway, we had dinner at Kicking Horse Palace and had more tofu, spicy and oily Chinese food. To be honest, I got sick and tired of this type of food after eating it for a few days!

We stopped by at Roger's Pass and witnessed how beautiful it truly was. Pictures are proof of that pass. I also saw a house that has a green roof top, and I seriously thought the roof was surrounded by green grass! Crazy!

Next stop - the ice cold glaciers! Bring it!
