We celebrated our fiftieth wedding anniversary with a trip with our daughter and her husband. This was in July 2006. We visited Austria first nice, and then  Slidre, Norway.
     In Norway we visited my ancestral farm, the Nesja farm in Slidre. The present owner Oyvind Nesja and his family were very gracious. They wined and dined us and showed all the sights.
