Nothing like leaving small details about how we are going to travel around Europe until the last minute. So here we are in Porto to sort out our Eurail pass as we are leaving Portugal next week. Since we're here maybe a romantic cruise and some port tasting if we have the time to fit it in.

Well as you can see from the pictures we did manage to accomplish all we set out to do in Porto, arranged our eurail pass finally, had a lovely river cruise and a great Port tour. Yes, I am a big person now and sampled the port deciding I have a more Tawney taste than Vintage. Nell was rather impressed with my Port abilities.

Nell was also impressed with my choice of Hotels. The Tiara Park Atlantic is a 5 star which we managed to nab on a special rate and we both fell in love with the wonderful PILLOWS!!! Finally after all our travels comfortable pillows do exist in Europe. Leaving our apartment in Idanha with megga mould issues and only  travel towels, it was sheer luxury staying in the hotel with large fluffy bathroom towels and all linen changed every day if desired. We only had a bottom sheet on the bed in Idanha so Nell was ready to move in permanently.

Anyhow off to Lisbon for our last 2 days in Portugal before flying out to Barcelona and beyond.
