We had decided to go on the Big Bus Tour. For 28 GBP this allows you to travel all day around London, getting on and getting off where you please a the great attractions of London. I think we should have done this on the Monday - the holidays, the weekend, every foreigner (including ourselves) in town - what a shamozle. We got on in Bayswater Road and travelled through various parts (Marble Arch, Trafalgar Square etc, until we arrived at Madame Tussaud’s. We got off and saw that there was a queue for tickets, but that people who had prepaid tickets were kind of going straight in, while we ticket buyers had to go to the end of the outside of the building to line up to purchase.
The line didn’t look too bad, about 25m long, even in the heat that seemed bearable.
