...Even when you are lugging around about 90 pounds of luggage (each!) on cobblestone streets in the direct sunlight not 100% sure of where you are going! We decided to save $35 by taking the bus from the airport to a station near where we are staying tonight, and then walking the rest of the way. Thought it would be simple to walk the 1 inch showing on Google Maps to our place, but alas...we got lost. I guess we had gotten too used to GPS! Darn people tied to their Smartphones and technology...

Anyway, the important point is that we made it hear safe 'n sound! And Prague is just as beautiful and magnificent as we remember it. We love and adore this city. We walked all over today, bubbling with excitement over our new home for the next 4 months. We had an awesome dinner at Pilsner Urquell's first ever restaurant, where we each got beef goulash with flour and bread dumplings, krokety (small, sweet, doughy, potato balls), and a Pilsner Urquell, for about $22! And yes that includes tip. Fun fact: tipping out here is somewhat optional...usually 10% max...

It's sort of sad to pack up and leave tomorrow! But Italy and Croatia will surely not disappoint...although we hear it's supposed to be 102 degrees in Florence this weekend. Ugh! At least we won't have our big suitcases with us anymore, since we left them at Delia's school here while we travel with our backpacks. Also we got a tour of her school (The Prague Institute) by Michael, the IT guy, who was very very kind and informative!

We don't plan to write a ton while actually traveling these next two weeks since we will be so busy, but we'll try to give updates here and there and post some pictures. For now, we are just attaching a few of the pictures we got in Prague today...the weather was absolutely perfect!

AWESOME PICS!!

We can't wait to visit.

Also, I love how you're already speaking in broken English: "Michael, the IT guy . . . was very very kind and informative!"

. . . . Did you originally write that in Czech, then put it through an English translater?

Glad you two are having a great time. Please save some Pilsner Urquell for Drew...

Looks fantastic! Does it still feel like vacation? You two ARE supposed to be working at some point, right? ;-)
