Most of the morning was still battling rough seas, but just after lunch Cape Horn came into sight & after approaching as close as possible the ship was able to alter course to head east, instantly giving us a smoother sailing.

Suddenly everyone was on deck again & forgetting their woes. The sun came out & dolphins were riding the bow waves on the port side.

With everyone feeling much better a charity auction was held in the lounge, followed by our final recap. The Captain's cocktail party was well attended - by then we were anchored back in the Beagle Channel & on track to dock on time tomorrow morning.

The dining room crew did a great job with a fitting gala dinner, complete with Baked AlaskaxxxxAntarctica.
