Stayed in a nice comfy hotel in Vienna, really very close to most of the attractions. Its a beautiful city with loads of old buildings to look at and pretty gardens (in spring/summer time).

Was my birthday on the 6th while we were in Vienna. Started celebrating using aussie time so i really got a day and a half of birthday celebrations. Started with an AWESOME Vienna scnhitzel for lunch (see photo) and then in the evening we went to a Mozart/Strauss concert in the Orangerie room at the Shonbrunn Palace (was a gift from Shell's family!). The concert was fantastic! Will really remember it as a special birthday. Oh and i also had a birthday banana split too ... goooood!
