So we had a wonderful few days in Edinburgh. Saw a lot of the sights - and lots of back streets when we found ourselves off the beaten track a little!! We climbed a mountain .. and searched and searched for cheap but healthy food.

Caught the train up to Stirling yesterday. It was the coldest day we've had so far. We actually got our big warm jackets out of our packs for the first time so far. And Shellie and I had to buy some warmer socks when we arrived in Stirling. Even the locals were saying it was bitter!!! The fog lasted til about 3pm. Cold!! We checked out the castle and then walked out of town to the Wallace Monument. It was all very beautiful but we couldn't see the view from any of the high vantage points because of the fog!!

We caught the train from Edinburgh this morning to Glasgow. We've checked into our hostel which is SO cheap for a private room with a bathroom. And its unbelievably great for the price!! We're only here one night though. We get up ultra early tomorrow morning to get to the airport to fly to Dublin. With only an afternoon here to explore we haven't really been able to find too many touristy things to do. We don't know whether this is due to lack of looking or whether there's just not that much here. Definitely feels a lot smaller than Edinburgh and not as pretty.

Trying to get some more photos and videos up ...

Write more later!!
