I had an early mark from work last Friday so we could drove up at the Central Coast and be on time for the night's session of the Frontline Retreat. I met up with my Connect Group girls in Townhall - Novi, Lucy and Vanessa. We stopped by North Sydney to meet two other girls. I accompanied Tendisa and Irene on the other car while the rest  went ahead of us. I didn't realize we would experience much traffic to think we left around 3pm from the City. But it took us a while to go through the freeway. We made it just on time for the evening session but didn't had time to change for the night's "Hippie Flower Power"  themed party. It was amazing to see a lot of people dressed up and full-on with their getup. It makes you feel like you've travelled back in time. It was indeed a fun night! But the highlight of the evening was more of the message that people received and a lot has been touched and blessed by it.

Before heading to the party, we drove to Terrigal to grab some food. We ended up getting pizza. The place is so small and there's no more space inside for us to eat. Outside, it's too cold so we ended up eating our food in Vanessa's car. Then, we went to the after-party in North Avoca since it's the venue closer to our accommodation which is just near Avoca Beach. On our way home, we encountered a road closure because of an accident so we we're given directions by a policeman. We passed by this very narrow and winding road which is also very dark so initially thought we might have gotten lost. But at the end, it was the right way and we're glad we didn't went back.

Ray cooked breakfast for everyone and we had the full-on big breakfast the following day. Vanessa requested that we get a proper coffee in  the morning so our group went ahead of the others. We dropped by Erina Fair before we head to the early morning sessions. Again, the messages are so powerful and encouraging. We finished at lunch time so we decided to grab lunch first at Terrigal and we found this small Thai café over there.

Back in Sydney, Novi suggested to visit this Canon photo exhibition in the City. We checked it out but it's just a small one. I ended up checking some of her photo collections as well and found out that she's also into scrapbooking which I'm also interested in but I haven't started yet. Looking at her scrapbook inspired me to focus again on my interest in the arts...to let the creativity flow and the artist in me to shine.

The photos I've posted here are courtesy of Novi since I forgot to bring my camera.
