The Night Before

The night before we leave, we tried to celebrate John Paul's third birthday, which will happen while we're in Scotland.  However, he'd already fallen asleep, and barely woke up long enough to look at the cake.  I took him back upstairs, and he fell asleep again.

Our things are packed, are ride to the airport is arranged for the morning, and Grandpa and Linda are confident they will be absolutely fine with nine kids.  I am confident, too!
