I just finished photography class, and we had a few funny moments. We just turned in our first 10 photos on Saturday (ugh, 9:00am classes on saturdays are not good) and in class we reviewed them.
Our professor hates it (and i think docs points from our grade) when we say that we "take photographs." There was a misconception when discussing taking pictures of the street vendors from North Africa. Our professor said it was difficult to shoot the vendors...
... meaning of course to take shoot their picture. But a bunch of college students can't discussing shooting in any kind of mature fashion. We played too many video games.
