Where I stayed
Greetings
Helsinki is so exciting, I got to ride a tram just like I do when I go to grandmas in Melbourne, but this time when I got off it was cold and the dads made me walk back to the hotel.
I got to see all the places I have been told about, Stockmans department store, the train station, the harbour and the big cathedral.
In the square outside the cathedral there were lots of bears - it was a world peace display and the winner of the most inventive photo gets a plane ticket from Helsinki to Berlin - not much use for an Australian Puppy so the dads said I couldn't enter, so I posed with them instead ;)
Who knew that the Helsinki Festival was on while we were here - tomorrow is a midnight bike ride through the city - we will miss it as we leave on a plane at 16:50.
I got a new badge today too - it is a reindeer sign with Finland on it - it is pretty. I got to see reindeer skins too - they sell them here like they sell sheep skins at home - daddy C wouldn't let me have one - he said it would be too hard to get it back into Australia.
I got my photo taken with a real live soldier too, that was fun, his mates woudn't get in the photo with him and me - I am thinking I was too cute and would show them up, and they kept laughing and pointing at me and the soldier, so I guess puppies must be funny here.
Daddy D did not barf today, I was sad cos I liked the smell, but he looked happier and less green that yesterday. We noticed that both the Linda Line ferries were in port today - the dads said it was probably too rough for them, rough is the noise I make - I get confused with the language.
Tomorrow is a travel day and we gain another two hours - it sure will hurt the dads when this time gets taken off them again - but means I get to sleep a lot more.
I also got a brush before we went out and while out I got a bit damp so daddy C gave me a blow dry when we got back - it was way cool.
Talk to you from Portugal.

Hi to all. Glad to see you're having a great time. Just a little reminder to Bloomie not to forget fathers day tomorrow for both dads. Enjoying the reading. Love Des
Could have gone without the detail re Andrew's "sick"! You have seen so many interesting buildings with many more to come. Dad appreciated the phone calls Andrew. You never fail!!
