It was about a 3hour journey from Mission beach to Port Douglas on the way we stopped off at some wonderful sights. Mossman creek was the first stop which had a waterfall and creek where you could swim the weather was so hot it was good to cool off and no Croc's!! We then stopped in Poet Douglas for lunch which was a lovely little town. We then took a ferry from the mainland into the Daintree National park area towards Cape tribulation. There we stopped off at Emmerson creek to swim in the morning and I did jungle surfing in the afternoon which is where you absail through the rainforest canopy to was great fun!!! also we went on a boat cruise up the river a saw a enormous Croc basking in the sun on a island in the middle of the river.
