Day 83:

So considering I didn't actually get drunk last night I woke up feeling rather good. I suppose that's the upside to not getting super wasted of your birthday, the lack of a hangover. I was obviously still going to have a lie in, it is my day off after all. Later in the day I headed to auto mercado aka the gringo supermarket aka the best supermarket in town and spent nearly $10 on a small Camembert. Yes I realise $10 is a lot for cheese but when you haven't had good cheese in four months and its the day after your god damn birthday you're allowed to spend $10 on cheese...ok! So that's dinner sorted for tonight. Slightly nervous that after two months of saying I'm going to treat myself to a cheese feast on my birthday it's going to be a huge disappointment. Still it's melted cheese (did I mention I'm baking it in the oven?) so it can't go too wrong. I'd already started the day with a crisp sandwich with my LAST packet of discos so I'm clearly aiming for a Sarah's favourite foods day.

After I went over to Tabby's again as we decided to go to the beach on our joint day off. We had a bit of lunch first and then headed over to Playa Blanca which is the beach next to Coco beach, to get to it you have to climb over a load of rocks to get round the corner to the other side, more on that later. We were planning on swimming out to the small island but after the ridiculous amount of jellyfish in the water yesterday and the sheer amount washing up on the shore we decided it wasn't the best idea. Which kind of sucked, would have been fun. So instead, after sunning ourselves for a bit, I suggested now was a good time to go back as the tide was coming in and when that happens you kind of can't get back very easily. On the way back we found a puffer fish that had just recently washed up on the beach, I was hoping by putting it back in the water it might revive itself but it was dead :( nooo not my puffers!

We were lucky we had left when we did because we almost couldn't get back and had clearly just left at the right time! We decided to stay on Coco beach for a bit where I found two more dead puffers, what the fudge! Poor things, they're really like my sloths of the sea.

I eventually headed home for my Camembert and bread feast, thank god it wasn't a let down and was actually worth the extortionate import price, even though it was tiny. It's ended up being a pretty nice day, minus the puffer massacre!

Day 84:
I honestly can't remember what I did today, all I know is I started the day with yoga and that it was Monday, that's it...
