So after stabbing myself with a sloth urine needle the other day I have also managed to successfully stab myself with a needle with sloth blood on. Ladies and gentlemen I am officially part sloth. This occurred whilst I ywas helping give a diabetes test to a sloth, yes apparently one of our sloths, Pricilla, might have diabetes. Poor thing. After adding more sloth fluids to my body Dusty and I finally had our cinnamon coffee as I had bought horchata tang (cinnamon drink thing you add milk too), these small things in life really make daily life special!

We've recently been giving less cooked beans to the sloths to stop with gloating etc and I was discussing it with Judy today. Apparently they're eventually going to get little food carts for each section so each sloth has an individualised plate. How cute is that! It'll be like actual room service! I told Judy that I thought this would be awesome and she was like so you're staying to see this then... ARG HOW I WANT TO STAY. I think before I leave I'm just going to talk to Judy and be like I want to come back asap, can I come back, can we work something out...living in Costa Rica, you guys won't miss me too much right?

So because we have like a whole new team I've been saying to people if they're doing something wrong or suggesting better ways to do things. But I kind of feel bad! I don't really like telling people they're doing something the wrong way, especially as they don't seem to appreciate it. However I feel like I should say something because it's all stuff that's right and needs to be done...

I'm definitely warming to Daniella more, she is super funny. She definitely cares about the sloths loads as well and is a good worker. However I went round to see all of the sloths in the sections to make a new bloated stomach list to sort out the beans diet and I noticed that she'd left the keys in two of the locks so had to mention something. This little fact will become very relevant for tomorrows blog!

I'm still not getting on very well with Kym. I really think she doesn't like me. And I'm honestly trying. God I miss the old group! Basically in the afternoon we sort all of the berros leaves into piles for our darling little sloths and they usually get raw beans on top of that. We had a smaller box today but Brittany had said do 6 beans per pile, I said let's do 4 first because I think the box is smaller. I was totally wrong and it was 6 (good work Brittany!) but Kym was proper nastily laughing about it because I was wrong. Gah!

On an upside got to give a sloth a bath today which is always cute. It's even cuter when it's a three finger Brady as they don't have to be sedated so it's pretty fun to do it as they're running about everywhere. I also got to see Lightening, Thunder, my sloths counterpart, properly. He's so cute but hardly ever comes out of his little box! I absolutely love my section but man most of them make me work for kisses. That's why it was pretty nice to go round all of the sections to check on the sloths as most of the other sloths are super kissy. I particularly liked my kisses from a partly paralysed sloth called Bruno. He's such a cutie. Felt really bad though as when I was checking for bloated stomachs I really frightened Bentley the sloth as I didn't realise he was blind :( felt horrible!

Gigia, my little angel, is doing ok. He's eaten a bit more and I managed to fed him a large part of what was left. One of my favourite parts of the day is bottle feeding him fluids everyday. It is BEYOND cute. Seriously don't know how I'm going to live without my Gigia bear.

Tonight we had COCKTAILS! Oh yeah! And I got to make them and they were tasty. I have named it the Cahuita Choloepus (scientific name for a sloth and where our coconut/Carmel rum was from). If you want to make it here's how to do it:
-Cahuita coconut rum (or coconut rum-not Malibu!)
-half a lime
-half an orange
-fresh pineapple
-pineapple juice
-coconut cream or milk
-ice and blend all together!!!

Kind of a piņa colada but obviously different! Unfortunately Judy didn't end up coming but Ursula and Claire came, with brownies!!! Played some cards though and talked about star signs and ghosts with Brittany and Jorge. I also di a Meyers Brigg personality test which is some whacky American test that is actually used by businesses in the US. It is a total Americanism, like therapy. I'm an ENFJ, if you're bored feel free to read about it here: www.typelogic.com/enfj.html. Unfortunately it says who is famous with this type, Tony Blair was one, FOR SHAME!
