Had to sleep in another bed last night as when I went to get into my mine I found it had been soaked by the rain. Thank god it gets quieter here on the weekdays or I would have had no where to sleep! Was weird not sharing my bed as well.

We had to get up pretty early as we wanted to get the 10:30 ferry to Ometepe. Everyone was pretty hungover so I got up and organised everything for them while they packed, showered etc. This is what I'm good at after all! Ended up buying a vest top from Naked Tiger as well, definitely a good thing to keep from my time here.

Everyone managed to get ready in time so after I bartered with the taxi driver who was trying to charge us too much, me, Tim, Grace, Fiona and Riley went to San Jorge for the ferry. We were on the back of a pick up though so we arrived looking a bit windswept. After sorting out the taxi for when we got off the ferry we went to find it. There was one boat there which definitely didn't look like a ferry but more like a medium sized wooden dingy. Or if you want to
imagine it, it looked a bit like the steam boat from Disneys first cartoon with Mickey Mouse (think it's called steamboat Willie). Basically it looked like something we could potentially die on as it was a bit choppy. Luckily this was just a normal boat that we could get on but not the ferry. Although to be honest the ferry wasn't that much better!

Managed to sleep pretty much all the way, I think we're all exhausted after Naked Tiger! In between I got to watch some vintage Latin music videos from the 80's which were completely ridiculous and had the most hilarious outfits, Tim also told me that James almost managed to get into a fight last night after I went to bed as he was calling all of the people who stayed on the sofas outside and in the living room 'animals'. I said he was probably joking but apparently some of the guys who were staying on the sofas didn't take too kindly to it. I actually thought the sofas were pretty good except the location and I've definitely stayed in worse places i.e Paddy's in Cambodia where our new room mate was a rat, and we didn't move! Ha

We arrived and got in our taxi in a rush to beat people to Little Morgans Hostel, we all know I'm competitive, especially when thy competition includes the annoying drunk girls from San Juan. The taxi driver was pretty cool and gave us a little mini tour in Spanish, which I understood! We got LM's and found Danny (one of the creators of Lashopoly) there. Managed to score me a dorm bed and the others a private room. My beds pretty awesome, instead of a hanging a mosquito net I've got a mosquito cage. So it's a wooden box around my bed with netting, looks cool! Immediately found another one of those bloody hairy caterpillars on the floor, luckily it was dead. A girl got stung by one later though, they're closing in on me! Stalkers.

Ben and Jack were off hiking the big volcano (Conception), it's a 10
hour hike, screw that. They got back soon after we arrived and Ben greeted me by shoving my face in his sweaty tshirt-thanks! The annoying girls arrived and got the last bed, decided to stop judging them for their drunken mess and give them another chance, I'm sure they are actually really nice, just not when they're wasted!

Went down to the lake with the boys after for a bit although I didn't swim. This wasn't why I didn't swim but apparently this is the one of the only places in the world that has freshwater sharks and they have some saltwater bull sharks (evil) too as they can survive in salt and freshwater. Little info for you all there ;)

Apparently Carlo and his Italian friends, Matteo and Stefano are coming today but I haven't been able to get hold of them. Doesn't help that the wifi they have here doesn't actually exist. Helpful! Went out for dinner with all the guys where I got called their 'Pet Girl', actually describes my last 10 days pretty accurately! I have been with mostly boys on my own the whole time in Nicaragua! Not gonna lie it's been pretty awesome.

We went to an Italian (don't think of it as a restaurant, it was a shack with 3 tables outside and a curtain for a door at the toilet), it was run by an Italian though but it took FOREVER. Almost two hours after we got there we got our food, we'd all ordered carbonara so should have been fairly quick but by that point we had moved out table 3 times as there were SO many bugs thanks to the lighting and had 5 one litre beers between 6 of us. AND I had like one piece of bacon in my carbonara, not impressed.

We went back to Little Morgans and had one more beer before we decided we were all knackered and went to bed at 10:30. We are definitely all exhausted and the boys are all leaving tomorrow for Costa Rica so I won't see them again which sucks!

Should be going horse riding round the island tomorrow to check it out!
