So once again it's baking, Hannah is suffering from a hangover that I seem to be sharing despite sleeping much earlier than her and not being drunk. Had loads of crappy errands to do today including going to the police, finally, to report my phone and money stolen from Laos (as apparently there are no visible police stations in Laos).

I rocked up at the station and told the guy what had happened, and it was like I had done something wrong. He kept asking me all these questions and was like we have to do a whole investigation, talk to your friends etc. I was like jesus, my stuff got stolen I wasn't murdered or anything. Then he goes, oh if you're lying we'll throw you in jail...I was like WTF? What the hell is wrong with you! Basically assumed that he wanted to put me off reporting it so that he either didn't have to do the paper work or because he doesn't want tourists reporting stuff as it looks bad. He also basically said that if he couldn't talk to all the people I was with last night (- how is that possible?) then I couldn't report it anyway... so ridic!

Off to Battambang tomorrow!
