The day did not start off well as my iphone was stolen by some a-hole while I sorted out our sandwiches. Hopefully he'll fall and break his leg as I'm pretty convinced it was the guy who sold us our sandwiches, who then openly lied about it. Grr.

Anyway the boat journey was again awesome and really beautiful. We have semi added a guy named Jack into our group, who is lovely. Lots of good conversation with everyone and playing and waving at the local children.

Arrived at Luang Prabang and headed to a hostel that Jack had recommend, Spicy Laos, where they give you free snake whiskey. It's a dorm so we're all staying together which is cool. And I'm on a bunk bed (top one obviously) which is rather cool. Luang seems really nice, they have a really good night market with lots of food. Going to have a chill day tomorrow as we're all so knackered from the constant moving about. So far already enjoying Laos (minus the phone stealing) far more than Thailand, much more relaxed and not as touristy as Thailand.

yes sarah i do read your blog, as your invited guest. dont write us oldens off too quickley, we actually invented most of the things you youngsters get up to....... anyway hope you are having a good time, you seem to have met some lovely people.
